A meeting of the OPEN SPACES COMMITTEE will take place on Tuesday 9th December 2014 in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, North Street, Ilminster at 19:30hrs
The public are welcome to attend this meeting. Members of the public are invited to ask questions or raise issues relevant to the work of the Committee. The overall time available for this session is restricted to 15 minutes unless the Chair decides otherwise. Individual speakers are restricted to 3 minutes and are asked not to repeat points that have been made previously. It is helpful if potential contributors can make themselves known to the Town Clerk before the meeting so that the session can be programmed effectively. This section is not part of the formal meeting of the Council and minutes will not be produced.

OPEN SPACES AGENDA
1. Suspension of Standing Orders
To suspend standing order 1m, which relates to photographing, recording, broadcasting or transmitting the proceedings.
2. Apologies for absence.
To receive apologies for absence from Councillors unable to attend the meeting.
3. Declarations of Interest.
To receive any declarations from Councillors and Officers of interests in respect of matters to be considered at this meeting, together with an appropriate statement regarding the nature of interest.
4. Minutes.
a) To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 28th October 2014 as a correct record.
b) To consider the action list relating to the Open Spaces committee.
5. Police Report
This agenda item provides an opportunity for the Police to report on any matters relevant to policing in Ilminster.
6. Wardens Report.
To receive the report from the Senior Open Spaces Warden about recent open spaces activities in Ilminster..
7. Circus Visit
To consider the charges for the use of Recreation Ground Wharf lane Recreation Ground.
8. Financial Comparison
To receive information about the Open Spaces Committee expenditure and commitments to date when compared with the 2014/15 budget; this will include separate information about the Recreation Ground Kiosk
9. Widening of the Path between The Mead to the Wardens’ Workshop
To consider the costs of widening the path between The Mead and the Wardens’ Workshop and how the work should be funded.
10. To consider taking agenda item 11 without members of the public and press present, due to confidential nature of the business to be transacted
11. Charges for fitness classes on the Wharf Lane Recreation Ground
To receive information charged for fitness classes between August and December and consider future charges.
