(5 Day Notice)

(Temporary Traffic Restrictions)
Somerset Council, in exercise of its powers under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and after giving notice to the Chief Officer of Police, has issued a Notice, the effect of which is to introduce temporary traffic restrictions on the lengths of roads listed in the Schedules to this Notice.
This Notice will come into operation on the 28th day of June 2023 between the hours of 19:00 hours and 06:00 hours to enable Wessex Water to carry out urgent works to renew a stop tap. This Notice will remain in force for a maximum of 5 days. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles)
Ditton Street, Ilminster From a point 36 metres south from the junction
with Silver Street in a southerly direction to the
junction with Shudrick Lane.
Schedule 2
(Temporary Suspension of One Way)
Ditton Street, Ilminster From the junction with Silver Street in a
southerly direction for a distance of 36 metres.
Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
