Councillor bio
Born and bred in Ilminster. Michelle attended Greenfylde, Swanmead and Wadham school and took part in a variety of after school clubs which included Ballet, gymnastics and Ilminster Air cadets. At 17, she joined the Royal Navy and spent the next 27 years working in Cornwall, Plymouth, London and closer to home at Yeovilton as a meteorologist. Michelle joined the Council in 2017 and became the chair of Open Spaces in 2019.
